"Les Miserables" has a dedicated, if not obsessive, following. But Nick Pitera takes this to a new level.

The singer puts on a one-man performance of "Les Miserables" in a new video, channeling Fantine, Jean Valjean and the other characters to deliver a medley of songs from the show, including "I Dreamed a Dream," "Master of the House" and "One Day More." And does a pretty solid job of covering all that ground.

Talk about range.

Pitera -- who previously gave a similar treatment to "Phantom of the Opera" -- says in the description of the video that he was moved to record the medley after catching a 25th anniversary touring production of "Les Miz" in San Francisco.

"After seeing the show, I was completely inspired and decided it was time to give it a try," Pitera wrote. "By no means do I come close to anyone who has or does actually sing/play these parts, but I had a blast trying :)"
