Larry David is enjoying a little attention in the first teaser for the long-awaited return of HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”
The brief clip was released Monday and touts the comedy’s Oct. 1 premiere date. In the promo, David appears to be on a rotating platform and is dressed in a getup resembling that of Julius Caesar.
“That was good, let’s go around again,” David says after taking a spin. “That was fun.”
The Emmy-winning comedy’s 10-episode ninth season will return more than six years after the series’ most recent new installment. The Season 8 finale aired in September 2011 and included an appearance by Michael J. Fox.
Among the co-stars who are back for the new batch of episodes include Jeff Garlin (Jeff Greene), Cheryl Hines (Cheryl David) and Susie Essman (Susie Greene).
“Curb Your Enthusiasm” returns on Sunday, Oct. 1, at 10 p.m. ET on HBO.
