‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ Season 8: The Final Preview

After a long layoff, Larry David’s HBO comedy returns July 10

"Curb Your Enthusiasm" has been on hiatus since November 22, 2009 — many lifetimes in fruit-fly years but a mere blip on the kvetch-related timeline of our favorite cable curmudgeon.

Larry David returns Sunday, July 10, at 10 p.m. ET, and based on the latest teaser trailer for the show's upcoming eight season, not much has changed in Larry world — even though it appears that the reunion with Cheryl didn't work out.

Why do we suspect that? Well, the title of the first episode is "The Divorce."

But the clip indicates that, regardless of marital issues, everything is how it should be. He yells at strangers. He needlessly pisses off friends and friends of friends.

Larry even trots out two new "Seinfeld"-like terms. A "pig parker" refers to someone who takes up more than one parking spot; a "chat and cut" happens when someone uses conversation to strategically move up in line.

All this, and Ricky Gervais talking about bread.
