You’d think that once contracts were out for the next season, some of the nerves would subside on The CW’s “Breaking Pointe.” That’s true for some people, but not for others as the opening of “Cinderella” approaches on Monday’s new episode airing at 9/8c.
First off, soloist Christiana Bennett is coming off a devastating injury to her ankle and it’s causing problems for her on the already technically difficult production of “Cinderella.”

Forget that she’s not even sure her partner Rex Tilton will be able to complete the run with his injury, she’s also trying to keep her failing marriage from affecting her performance.
Then, there’s Ian Tanzer, poor thing.
Trying to bounce back from the fact that he wasn’t offered a contract with the company, he suffers a possible injury during dress rehearsal that may take him out of action. Is it serious or is he just being dramatic?
