The song’s music video features young patients from The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia sneaking out of their hospital rooms and joining together to have fun while painting a giant sign that says, “Truly Brave.”

Both the song and the video are part of Today’s” “Shine a Light” outreach campaign that benefits the American Cancer Society. Kotb, who is a breast cancer survivor,  set up her own Crowdrise campaign to take donations. The charity has raised more than $135,000 as of Thursday afternoon.
