Watch ‘America’s Got Talent’ Puppet Duel With Darci Lynne, Season 2 Winner Terry Fator (Video)

But did 12-year-old claim the Season 12 crown?

(Spoiler alert: Please do not read on if you haven’t watched Wednesday’s finale of “AGT.”)

Perhaps this explains why Darci Lynne Farmer just won “America’s Got Talent.”

Shaking off a lyrical mess-up at the start — an easy mistake to make here — the 12-year-old singing ventriloquist conquered the crowd Wednesday in a dueling duet with Season 2 winner Terry Fator. The two performed “Anything You Can Do” from “Annie Get Your Gun” — through their respective puppets, of course.

The show wrapped up yet another wildly popular run on Wednesday as it crowned its latest winner during the Season 12 finale.

The 10 remaining acts performed for the final time during the first part of the NBC variety show’s finale on Tuesday.

Those still in the mix ahead of Wednesday’s episode were: singer Evie Clair, dancers Diavolo, singer Chase Goehring, singer Angelica Hale, singer Mandy Harvey, comedian Preacher Lawson, dance troupe Light Balance, singing ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer, singer Kechi and animal act Sara and Hero.

The stars participating in the finale included Kelly Clarkson, Shania Twain, Derek Hough, James Arthur, Kevin Nealon, Jeff Dunham and Season 2 champ Terry Fator.

This season’s judges were Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Mel B and Heidi Klum.
