One thing has become crystal-clear: Bruce Wayne's pointy-eared alter ego really has his work cut out for him this time
Following last week's blurry, blink-and-you'll-miss-it look at Christopher Nolan's upcoming superhero epic "The Dark Knight Rises," the second trailer for the film has officially been released, delivering a glimpse of the film that won't cause motion sickness.
It just might give you a case of the chills, however…
It's eight years after the events of "The Dark Knight," and Batman's beloved Gotham City is in bad shape — and it's about to get a lot worse, thanks to the arrival of terrorist leader Bane (played by Tom Hardy), who seems intent on blowing the place to smithereens, one football field at a time.
Fire up the Bat Signal, toss on the cape and check out the new "Dark Knight Rises" trailer in the video.
