PGA to Honor Lynton and Pascal

Sony Pictures chairman and CEO Michael Lynton and studio co-chair Amy Pascal will receive the Producers Guild’s annual Milestone Award.

The trophy, which will be handed out at the PGA Award ceremony Jan. 24 at the Hollywood Palladium, recognizes “historic contribution” to the entertainment industry.

“Michael and Amy’s strong stewardship of Sony Pictures Entertainment has been exemplary, providing the studio with precisely the kind of stability, consistency and creativity the producing profession relies upon to do its best work," said PGA President Marshall Herskovitz.”
Previous Milestone recipients have included Walt Disney, Darryl F. Zanuck, Alfred Hitchcock, Steven Spielberg, Sherry Lansing, Clint Eastwood, Bob Daly and Terry Semel, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Ron Meyer and Alan Horn.
