“Crazy Heart” filmmaker Scott Cooper is attached to write and direct “The Pale Blue Eye” for Fox 2000, TheWrap has learned.
Peter Chernin’s company Chernin Entertainment is producing the project, which is still in development.
While details of the drama remain under wraps, the story must be worthwhile, as Cooper has been a hot commodity in Hollywood ever since "Crazy Heart" won Jeff Bridges an Oscar for Best Actor last year.
Cooper is represented by ICM.
