The 83rd annual Academy Awards will be presented on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011, Academy President Tom Sherak announced Thursday.

ABC will televise the Oscar ceremony live from the Kodak Theater at Hollywood & Highland in Hollywood.

Since 2004, when the Oscars shifted from their longtime late-March date to February, the ceremony has been held at the end of February. The Oscars moved to March 7 this year to get out of the way of the Vancouver Winter Olympics.
