It’s August. Hollywood has wilted. The box office is about to flat-line.
Time to get out of town! But if you wanna be a mogul, you better be on a boat.
Yes, it’s TheWrap’s second annual "Moguls on a Boat" feature, tracking the movements of your favorite media and movie honchos. (See where they were last summer.)
They travel in clusters, on great big floating luxury suites where they still get the internet, check the grosses and gossip about Vivi Nevo.
And thank Gawd for Steve Jobs, who has brought us all the iPad, preventing your favorite moguls from being weighed down with all manner of cumbersome scripts or, as in the past, actual books. Now, after Cookie finishes breakfast, everyone can hunker down starboard with "The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest."
Kindles, anyone? (‘It’s a Frisbee at this point," says one vacationing mogul. Ouch!!)
So where are the moguls' boats this summer? Click through and see! And if you're not on the list, send your whereabouts to info@thewrap.com.
(Musical treat: Andy Samberg and T-Pain's "I'm on a Boat.")
