FX’s ‘The Bridge’ Adds Demian Bichir’s Brother to Cast

Second season of FX drama is slated to premiere in the summer

The second season of FX’s “The Bridge” is turning into a family-friendly endeavor. At least as far as casting is concerned.

Bruno Bichir, the brother of “Bridge” star Demian Bichir, has joined the cast as a guest star for the upcoming second season of the drama.

Details about his character have not yet been revealed.

“Weeds” alum Demian Bichir plays Mexican detective Marco Ruiz on the series, which also stars Diane Kruger and is based on the Danish/Swedish series “Bron.”

“The Bridge” is slated to return for a second season this summer.

Bruno Bichir’s credits include ‘Rabbit on the Moon” and “Che: Part One.”
