Denise Richards Joins Spike TV’s ‘Blue Mountain State’

The actress will play the ex-wife of Ed Marinaro’s Coach Marty Daniels

Denise Richards, who is perhaps best known for her hot makeout scene with Neve Campbell in the 1998 movie "Wild Things," has signed on for the second season of Spike TV's college football comedy "Blue Mountain State." 

"Blue Mountain State" tells the story of the Goats, a football team led by Coach Marty Daniels (Ed Marinaro). In season two, the team is seeking redemption after posting a horrible record the previous year. Richard will play Daniels' ex-wife.

Along with Richards, season two of "Blue Mountain State" will feature guest appearances from UFC fighter Chuck Liddell, play-by-play man Dan Patrick and several former football greats — Bill Parcells, Brian Bosworth, Bill Romanowski and Bill Romanowski.

Season two of "Blue Mountain State" begins Wednesday, Oct. 20 at 11:00 p.m.
