Did Trump Just Subtweet MSNBC Reporter Katy Tur?

“Fascinating to watch people writing books and major articles about me and yet they know nothing about me & have zero access. FAKE NEWS,” the president writes

One of Donald Trump’s tweets on Tuesday morning seems to take a shot at MSNBC’s Katy Tur, making her the latest to be called “fake news” by the president.

“Fascinating to watch people writing books and major articles about me and yet they know nothing about me & have zero access. #FAKE NEWS!” Trump tweeted Tuesday morning after Tur appeared on MSNBC morning show “Morning Joe” to discuss her new memoir, which documents her time as MSNBC’s Trump campaign correspondent.

“The Trump campaign was the most unlikely, exciting, ugly, trying, and all-around bizarre campaign in American history. It roiled America and with it, my little life. I won’t pretend to explain it. I will tell you what I saw,” Tur writes in “Unbelievable: My Front-Row Seat to the Craziest Campaign in American History.”

Tur has been bashed by Trump throughout her time following his presidential campaign — he even called her out by name during a rally in Miami last November, sparking the hashtag #ImWithTur to show support for the reporter. He had previously called her “naive,” a “third-rate journalist” and told her to “be quiet” during a press conference.
