Dailies | ‘Amish Mafia’ Season Premiere Introduces Ruck: Don't Let the Dress Fool You (Exclusive Video)

On Tuesday's return episode, Merlin makes a dangerous “foot soldier” on the Discovery Channel series

Discovery Channel's “Amish Mafia” returns for a new season on Tuesday amid bitter wars for power and territory.

While Levi struggles to keep outside forces from infiltrating the Amish community in Lancaster, Pa., Merlin's eye is on winning back Holmes County, Ohio. To do so, he sets his sites toward recruiting dangerous new “foot soldiers.”

In TheWrap's exclusive preview, Merlin reaches out to Ruck. He's clearly got an ax to grind after being shunned by the community for some time after beating a man down with a bible because he was chewing gum in church. Go figure.

Clearly dedicated to his religion, Ruck is named after the Dutch word for “dress” and he lives up to the name by wearing a ruck every day. But, don't let the dress fool you, there's some twisted stuff going on here.

Yikes! Holmes County is just down the road from me. I usually invite people to come to our church but if Merlin came and started to beat down people chewing gum, we'd have a problem. If the show and Merlin are real than he needs some serious mental health.

What a crock of crap….could roll into town with my boys and smack them around and they wouldn't be able to do squat about it. Such a fake POS.
