CBS has added two new regular cast members to its Stephen King adaptation, and tapped a vet from “Sons of Anarchy” and “The Shield” for its upcoming planted “NCIS” spinoff.

“CSI: NY” star Eddie Cahill will play Sam on “Under the Dome,” which is preparing to enter its second season. Described as a handsome recluse and former EMT, Sam can hold his own against his brother-in-law Big Jim (Dean Norris) and forms a deep connection with Julia (Rachelle Lefevre).

“Misfits” actress Karla Crome will play Rebecca, a beautiful school teacher who’s also athletic, smart, tough and sexy. Growing up as an army brat, Rebecca relocated with her family to many locations around the world. “Under the Dome” will mark Crome’s first role on U.S. television.

Pounder, meanwhile, will play Dr. Wade, the Jefferson Parish medical examiner, who’s as eccentric as she is smart. The new “NCIS” franchise character is described as worldly, intuitive, and incredibly connected to Louisiana.

The planted spinoff, which will air as a two-part “NCIS” episode in the spring, centers on the NCIS New Orleans office, which handles cases from Pensacola through Mississippi and Louisiana to the Texas panhandle. Pounder joins a cast that already includes Scott Bakula and “JAG” alum Zoe McLellan.
