It’s been nearly five months since Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton on Election Day, but the president can’t seem to let her go. On Monday, Trump went on a bizarre Twitter rant, attacking his former opponent.

Trump started by openly pondering if former Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta’a brother was paid to have Russian sanctions lifted, asking “Did Hillary know?” The president then turned his attention to the months-old scandal, where former Democratic National Committee chair Donna Brazile provided the Clinton campaign with questions prior to a CNN town hall event, when she was a correspondent on the network.
“Did Hillary Clinton ever apologize for receiving the answers to the debate?,” Trump tweeted. “Just asking!”
Earlier on Monday, Trump credited “Fox & Friends” for an “amazing report” about the president’s on-going claims that he was spied on during the campaign.

It’s unclear why Trump continues to attack Clinton. His base is presumably amused by the on-going attacks, as Trump supporters often chanted “lock her up” when the Democratic nominee was mentioned at rallies and other campaign events. Many pundits feel he is simply trying to distract Americans from other issues.
Meanwhile, “Fox & Friends” rival “Morning Joe” spent Monday morning making fun of the president’s news consumption.
“He’s president of the United States and all he does is watch TV… and comment on it,” Joe Scarborough said.
“This is very small behavior that is so unbecoming,” Mika Brzezinski added. “He’s like a little kid.”
