Donald Trump Rushed Off Stage by Secret Service at Reno Rally (Video)

“Nobody said it was going to be easy for us, but we will never be stopped. Never… ever… be stopped,” Trump told the cheering crowd

Secret Service jumped on stage at Donald Trump’s Reno, Nevada rally on Saturday and quickly ushered the candidate off stage in mid-speech when a disturbance broke out in the audience close to the podium.

Commotion ensued when someone in the crowd yelled “gun.”

“We saw probably a couple hundred people or more dart out of this place immediately once they saw the Secret Service jump down and started telling people to get back,” MSNBC reporter Jacob Rascon said at the scene.

A member of the media trying to get a photograph caused an additional skirmish from Trump supporters, who wouldn’t allow him to go through. “They’re pushing him and yelling at him and grabbing his camera,” Rascon said.

Shortly thereafter, Secret Service and a Reno SWAT team escorted a man out of the room in handcuffs and led him to a bathroom in the back of the venue. Trump then returned to the stage, where he appeared to be a little rattled.

“Nobody said it was going to be easy for us, but we will never be stopped. Never… ever… be stopped,” he told the cheering crowd.

He later added in a statement, “I would like to thank the United States Secret Service and the law enforcement resources in Reno and the state of Nevada for their fast and professional response.”

“Upon a thorough search of the subject and the surrounding area, no weapon was found,” the Secret Service said in a statement. “A thorough investigation is ongoing at this time by the U.S. Secret Service and the Reno Police Department.”
