Drafthouse Films Acquires North American Rights to ‘Wrong’

Surreal comedy stars William Fictner and Steve Little

Drafthouse Films has acquired North American rights to "Wrong," a surreal comedy from electronic musician-turned-director Quentin Dupieux.

Drafthouse is the film distribution arm of the Alamo Drafthouse theater chain. The film centers on a man’s frantic search for his kidnapped dog and the offbeat characters he encounters along the way. A limited theatrical and VOD release is planned for 2013, Drafthouse Films said.

"Wrong" stars Steve Little of "Eastbound and Down," Jack Plotnick of "Reno 911" and "Crash" star William Fictner.

Dupieux previously directed the 2010 feature "Rubber."
