The actor-turned-rapper proves he can still act in a Canadian soap opera if he wanted to
Drake will never forget his “Degrassi: The Next Generation” days, and showcases his Canadian soap opera acting chops in new promos for his “Saturday Night Live” hosting gig this weekend.
The rapper, who also serves as the musical guest this weekend, launches into a melodramatic monologue about love and loss in the “SNL” tease (above).
Cast members Bobby Moynihan and Jay Pharoah each take turns annoying the Grammy-nominated host, too.
Saturday's episode marks the first new one since the NBC sketch took a winter break, as well as the debut of new hire Sasheer Zamata.
