"Saw" director James Wan is producing the film, which also stars Maria Bello and Frank Grillo
Dustin Milligan will star in Dimension’s untitled thriller being produced by “Saw” director James Wan, an individual with knowledge of the deal told TheWrap and a spokesperson for Dimension owner The Weinstein Company then confirmed. Milligan joins Cody Horn, Maria Bello and Frank Grillo in the film, which Will Canon is directing and Wan is producing with Lee Clay.
Max La Bella wrote the script, which follows a police officer (Grillo) and a psychologist (Bello) investigating the mysterious deaths of five people on a ghost-hunting excursion. One person survived, prompting further suspicion.
The film will begin shooting next week in Louisiana, and Milligan, who will play John, is already there.
The actor is best known for playing Ethan Ward in “90210,” the CW’s reboot of the hit 1990s TV show. He was on the show for its first season.
He has also appeared in more than a dozen movies over the past decade, including “Final Destination 3,” “Extract” and “Shark Night 3D.”
Gersh, Red Management and attorney Scott Whitehead represent him.
