The Ryan Seacrest Productions series will address the couple's separation on the upcoming ninth season

The top-down fragmentation of the Kardashian-Jenner dynasty will play out on E!'s “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” during the upcoming season.

Sources close to the production have told TheWrap that the hit show is still in production and the cameras are rolling as the couple deals with the separation.

“The show will continue to address all aspects of the family’s lives and it’s obvious to anyone who has been watching throughout the series that Kris and Bruce have always been open about their relationship,” one insider told TheWrap.

On Tuesday, the Jenners released a joint statement confirming their separation. In it, they said “We are living separately and we are much happier this way.”

Their confirmation arrived after several reports of the separation from individuals inside the family circle made the rounds over the past week.

These reports included an interview with Brody Jenner, Bruce’s son and new “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” cast member, in which he confirmed the couple are living separately but denied that it meant there was strife between the couple.

“I stay out of their business, but as far as I’m concerned, they haven’t split up,” Brody said. “Dad’s been in Malibu — he grew up out here — and the press has made a big deal of it. It’s nothing to do with them breaking up.”

The reports were exacerbated last week when Kris’s sister, Karen Houghton, said that the pair are “separated” and that Bruce has “sought out a lawyer” in an interview with InTouch.

Last Sunday's episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” attracted 2.3 million viewers and ranked No. 1 in cable in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic for its time slot. Produced by Ryan Seacrest Productions, the show was previously renewed through Season 9.

It airs Sundays at 9/8c.

Note: A previous version of this article mistakenly reported that the separation will take place on the currently airing eighth season.

It's maaaavelous, ratings are up. Here's hoping for the pain of human drama live and oh so real. Let the whole clan have some pain. It's what we want from our reality stars.

Something tells me this whole damn thing is orchestrated just like everything else they do. Ratings were down….. Now they are back up. That dragon lady is a genius if nothing else.

Orchestrated and drawn out for sure. Last week showed the 3 sisters “planning” Kim's delivery, and route, etc… But if you watched closely, it was clear, that it was shot after the baby was born… They were snickering (because they are bad actresses), and Kim was no longer “pregnancy swollen” but sitting close to the table, as they discussed what should be done to keep paparazzi away. Kind of silly… Self inflated importance and ego. They kept comparing her to Princess Diana in the need for high security… so bizarre. It is the most scripted show in all of reality television. So absolutely…The Momager is genius at the spin…
