“It's more action packed,” says series star Bill Skarsgard
Eli Roth introduces this new featurette for season 2 of his Netflix horror series “Hemlock Grove” by saying this season they're looking to grab audiences by the throat until the very end. Judging by the quick flashes of unbelievable blood and gore that follow, he's not kidding around.
As newcomer to the series Madeline Brewer says, “We're not on network television. We get to do some really crazy sh-t.” And then she proceeds to get her throat ripped out by co-star Bill Skarsgard, and drowns him in blood. So there's no exaggeration there.
Season 2 continues with the town still reeling from the massacre that concluded the first season. Roman and Peter are now faced with new responsibilities and the realities that come with adulthood. Roman's relationship with his mother, Olivia, is still struggling and Peteris forced to get a job after his mother is sent away. Meanwhile, newcomer Miranda arrives in Hemlock Grove and will have an effect on Peter and Roman. And Norman, still reeling from the loss of his family, must face the harsh truths that are uncovered about those he still loves.
