A spokeswoman for Shepherd confirmed her exit from the talk show to TheWrap on Thursday.

Co-host Steve Doocy went one step further, asking whether she thought Shepherd was shocked at her exit.

“You know, I’m sure, even though you think that might happen someday, I’m sure it would come across to be a shock,” Hasselbeck said. “I haven’t spoken to her in person yet. Set to happen though.”

Jenny McCarthy also announced that she was leaving the show, which led Kilmeade to observe, Jenny McCarthy just got there; didn’t she?”

“Just never gelled with the audience,” Doocy said opined. “Sherri, who we love, is out, and Jenny out as well.”
