Rihanna and Eminem to Perform ‘Monster’ First Time Live at MTV Movie Awards

Sunday promises to be a “Monster” of a night

Rihanna and Eminem will perform their hit “The Monster” for the first time live at Sunday’s “2014 MTV Movie Awards.”

Both are making returns to the awards show’s stage this weekend. In 2009, Eminem performed a medley of “We Made You/ Crack a Bottle.” In 2007, Rihanna performed “Umbrella” with Jay Z.

Ellie Goulding, Zedd, and Twenty One Pilots are also scheduled to perform.

“American Idol” EP Jesse Ignjatovic serves as executive producer for the “2014 MTV Movie Awards.” Garrett English serves as executive producer and executive in charge for MTV. Lee Lodge and Jen Jones will executive produce.

Wendy Plaut serves as co-executive producer and executive in charge of celebrity talent. Amy Doyle is executive in charge of music and celebrity talent. Joanna Bomberg is executive in charge of music talent.

The 2014 MTV Movie Awards will air across MTV’s global network of more than 60 channels, reaching more than half a billion households around the world. In addition, its convergent programming and content will reach the interactive community, via MTV’s more than 200 digital media properties around the world.

Conan O’Brien hosts the show live from the Nokia Theater on Sunday at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
