Try as she might, Emma Stone simply cannot successfully tell a lie. The “Birdman” actress attempted to fib her way to a win playing “Box of Lies” against Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday’s “The Tonight Show.”

The recurring game on the NBC late-night series is simple enough — pick a box, remove the item inside and either describe it truthfully or make something up to try and trick your opponent. Stone picked a DVD of the Disney movie “Frozen” that was frozen inside of a block of ice.
Stone tried to lie to Fallon, instead describing playing cards in the shape of a salamander.

Fallon saw through her almost immediately, yelling: “You lie!”
The host then tried his hand at lying about a calculator wristwatch.
