While Richard Jenkins took home the Best Actor in a Limited Drama Series Emmy on Sunday — his real prize has being presented to by Lady Gaga.

A considerably dressed-down Gaga announced Jenkins’ as winner, for his performance in HBO’s “Olive Kitteridge,” subsequently thrilling the longtime thespian.

When he took the stage, Jenkins stared over at the star of the forthcoming “American Horror Story: Hotel,”  and announced to the crowd, “Wow. That’s Lady Gaga.”

As the singer-turned-actress covered her face and giggled over the attention, Jenkins continued to marvel.

“‘So Dad, what did you do last night?’” he said, playing out the questions his family would ask him the following day.

His attention soon turned to the women of “Kitteridge,” a highly praised look at the emotional life of a difficult woman in New England. Elizabeth Strout, author the novel from which the series was adapted, Jane Anderson, the screenwriter, and director Lisa Cholodenko were at the top of Jenkins’ list.

McDormand herself picked up Best Actress in a Limited Series, and “Olive” herself won best Limited Series.
