Kate McKinnon gave Hillary Clinton a shout-out during her acceptance speech at the Emmys on Sunday night, thanking the former presidential candidate for her “grace.”

McKinnon’s tribute to the 2016 Democratic nominee came after years of playing Clinton to much acclaim on the NBC sketch comedy. The two women memorably shared the screen in a sketch in which the real Clinton played the a bartender consoling McKinnon’s Clinton during the campaign, and McKinnon later performed an emotional cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” while dressed as Clinton at the start of the first “SNL” episode after Clinton’s shocking loss to Donald Trump.

McKinnon won her second trophy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series on Sunday and gave a tearful acceptance speech thanking the show’s writers and her castmates, including fellow nominees Vanessa Bayer, Leslie Jones and Alec Baldwin.
