So the ATAS Board of Governors decided maybe it should give the music branch a chance to weigh in.

The proposal was to eliminate the title theme category and replace it with a new category, Music Composition for a Nonfiction Program.

The results are in from the recent vote, and the outcome is that the title music category will remain and the nonfiction category will not be added.

Of 121 ballots returned by members of the music branch, 36 were in favor of the change and 85 were against it.
