They’re getting the band back together.
Erwin More and Brian Medavoy are reuniting after 13 years apart and have launched a new management company under the same banner that waved when they emerged as small screen power brokers in the 1990s — More/Medavory Management.
“We both love spending a lot of time together,” More told TheWrap. “There’s an undeniable uniqueness to the chemistry we share as partners that few people have in life or in business.”

Indeed, for 15 years, the production and talent management company boasted a rolodex of top-shelf clients such as Jason Bateman, Tobey Maguire, Ryan Reynolds, Josh Brolin, David Schwimmer, Peter Berg and Jenna Elfman, while producing hit television series such as “Just Shoot Me” and “Dharma and Greg.”
Since striking out on his own five years ago, Medavoy has built a roster of clients that includes Paula Patton, Neal McDonough, Bella Heathcote, Reno Wilson and Eric Balfour.
Since disbanding, More has worked at Paradigm, most recently as head of TV talent for the agency. He also had a seven-year stint as co-head of talent at William Morris Agency. At Paradigm, More worked with Sharon Stone, Jill Hennessy, Roseanne Barr, Chevy Chase and Dwight Yoakam, among others.

“I have learned an incredible amount working in the walls of Paradigm and before that at William Morris,” More said. “I’m looking forward to applying my knowledge in terms of representing talent and combining that with my experience in production.”
Over the last five years, Medavoy has steadily built a stable of clients to include such talents as Paula Patton, Neal McDonough, Bella Heathcote, Reno Wilson and Eric Balfour.
More said that actors, directors and other creative talent have become more comfortable with the need for managers weighing in on the evolution of their careers, in addition to agents in recent years. The explosion of digital channels, many of them manned by deep-pocketed companies such as Netflix or Amazon, has created fresh opportunities for artists.
“The new business models are so exciting and are definitely going to have a place in our future,” he said.
Matt Sherman joined Medavoy last year from his own management shingle, having begun his career at UTA. The new team will continue its relationship with Medavoy’s current producing partner, literary and talent manager Alan Nevins of Renaissance Literary and Talent.
The partners are producing an upcoming E! miniseries about Patricia Gucci, the daughter of fashion visionary and entrepreneur Aldo Gucci.
