‘Escape Plan’ Trailer: Stallone and Schwarzenegger Team Up to Break Out, Break Skulls (Video)

Action icons last appeared on the big screen together in 2012 box office hit, "The Expendables 2"

The first trailer for Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger's latest action pic, "Escape Plan," has hit the web, and it promises that the bad guys are going to pay for putting them in prison.

Mikael Håfström ("1408") directs the film about the world's foremost authority on structural security (Stallone), who must escape a prison he designed, called The Tomb, when he is unjustly jailed. He befriends an inmate (Schwarzenegger) who agrees to help with — you guessed it — an escape plan.

"You have a choice," Schwarzenegger tells Stallone. "You can die in here or you can get out and punish the people who put you here."

Jim Caviezel ("The Passion of the Christ") plays the warden doing everything he can to keep them inside, while Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson has a role as one of Stallone's friends on the outside using tech skills to track down the prison's location.

Stallone and Schwarzenegger last teamed up in 2012's "The Expendables 2," which earned Lionsgate over $300 million at the box office. It will be interesting to see what kind of business these two aging tough guys do for Summit when "Escape Plan" hits theaters on Oct. 18.
