ESPN ’30 for 30′ Films Set for Amazon Streaming

Documentaries based on a concept by Bill Simmons

Amazon Prime will now offer documentaries from ESPN's "30 for 30" documentary series for screening.

The concept for the films came from ESPN columnist Bill Simmons, who suggested that filmmakers create a series of documentaries about sports in the last 30 years.

The deal includes such documentaries as “The Best That Never Was,” “The U” and “The Two Escobars.”

Other titles include "Four Days in October," "The House of Steinbrenner," "Jordan Rides Again," "June 17, 1994," "Kings Ransom," "Muhammad & Larry," "Run Ricky Run," "Unmatched," Winning Time" and "Without Bias."

The titles were already available on Netflix.
