UPDATE: Evan Peters has finally shown himself on “American Horror Story: Roanoke,” and you can see what’s up with that here.

“American Horror Story” fans better brace themselves: Evan Peters will make his long awaited Season 6 debut tonight on the FX anthology series.

Series creators Ryan Murphy announced the news on Twitter, no doubt sending Peters fans into a frenzy. “Evan Peters makes his season debut in tonight’s American Horror Story: Roanoke…and no, he’s not playing a producer,” Murphy wrote.

Tonight’s episode marks the halfway point in Season 6, and there has nary been a sign of Peters. One social media user claimed Peters’ shoulder made an appearance in the premiere, when Shelby (Sarah Paulson) and Matt (Cuba Gooding Jr.) first moved into the house and a weird pig-headed creature was seen lurking in the woods.

This also raised questions over whether this related to Piggy Man from “Murder House,” the storyline of the series’ first season.

Another theory floating around is that Peters is the leader of the Lost Colony, of which Kathy Bates, Wes Bentley and Lady Gaga are also a part.

Another theory claims that Peters will be the talking head of the redheaded police officer (Colby French) seen this season, which is shot documentary-style and set years after the characters’ “Roanoke Nightmare.”

“American Horror Story: Roanoke” airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on FX.
