“Jersey Shore” star Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino was indicted for tax fraud this week, and as Jimmy Kimmel points out, the vast majority of news outlets covering the story should be indicted on charges of unoriginality.
Kimmel compiled over a dozen examples of TV reporters or anchors leading the segment with the play on words, “‘The Situation’ finds himself in a very serious situation.”

“If convicted he could face up to five years in prison, and endure a lot more news reports like this,” Kimmel joked on Thursday before showing his viewers the compilation (above).
Kimmel is no stranger to making fun of the news. Last year he pointed out Southern California reporters’ ridiculous reaction to “cold” weather, as well as rain.
