Ewan McGregor and Stanley Tucci will be Disney’s guests for the upcoming live-action retelling of the classic “Beauty and The Beast,” TheWrap has learned.

McGregor has been cast as Lumiere, according to an individual familiar with the project, the charming French maitre’d of the desolate castle ruled over by the Beast (Dan Stevens), who accommodates a lovely young prisonor in Belle (Emma Watson).

Tucci has been cast to play a new character, Cadenza, a grand piano.

Production will begin in May at Shepperton Studios in London, but select cast has already assembled. Josh Gad, who plays henchman LeFou to Luke Evan’s cocky heartthrob Gaston, uploaded an Instagram photo last week posing with Watson, Evans, Stevens and Kevin Kline, who will play Belle’s father.

Mandeville Films’ David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman are producing the film, which also stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw. The script was written by Stephen Chbosky.
