Exclusive Media has hired former Imagine Entertainment executive Sarah Bowen as its new senior vice president of production, the company announced Friday. Bowen will report to Tobin Armbrust, the company’s president of production and acquisitions.
The company has also hired Sarah Perlman Bremner as director of development, reporting to Armbrust.
Both executives will expand Exclusive’s development and production pipeline. The company, which finances and handles international sales for a wide variety of titles, has also been producing and distributing an increasing number of movies.
Exclusive produced “Rush,” Ron Howard‘s latest film starring Chris Hemsworth and Daniel Bruhl, as well as “Can A Song Save Your Life?,” John Carney‘s latest film that scored the biggest deal at the Toronto Film Festival.
Exclusive worked with Bowen on “Rush.”
“During Exclusive Media’s collaboration with Imagine Entertainment on ‘Rush’ as well as the upcoming ‘Pele,’ we recognized what a dynamic, creative and passionate executive Sarah is and we welcome her to the company as we continue to focus on producing intelligent, story driven, theatrical films,” Armbrust said in a statement.
Bowen worked at Imagine for more than a decade, overseeing projects like “American Gangster” and “Flightplan.” Bremner worked at Sunny Field Entertainment.
