Producers of the FEARnet webseries on which the indepedent horror film is based on raised a portion of the $1.2 million budget on Indiegogo
Fans of FEARnet web series “Fear Clinic” pitched in over $68,000 last year on Indiegogo to help make the feature film version a reality, and the producers rewarded them on Friday by releasing the first trailer.
The preview (above) of the independent horror — starring former Freddy Krueger, Robert Englund — teases the madness that arises when a doctor working to cure phobias places his patients in a dream machine that induces and controls hallucinations.
Thomas Dekker (“Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”), who starred in the 2010 “Nightmare on Elm Street” remake, leads the cast alongside Fionna Dourif (“True Blood”).
Robert Hall (“Teen Wolf”) directed “Fear Clinic,” and co-wrote it with Aaron Drane. There is no release date yet.
