Casey Wilson is speaking out about rumors she was fired from "Saturday Night Live" because she was too fat.
E! Online earlier this week charged "SNL" producers with demanding Wilson lose 30 pounds as a condition of employment. The website claimed that when she refused to do so, she was axed.
An "SNL" spokeswoman then went on record with TheWrap flatly denying the allegation. And now, Wilson has issued a statement to People magazine laughing off the notion that weight was an issue in her departure.
"I had an amazing time on ‘SNL’, and these rumors are completely untrue," Wilson said. "And to clarify, the issue isn’t that I’m too fat, it’s that I’m too phat. Can I get a WHAT-WHAT!"
