Fans who thought they were previewing footage from the Ryan Reynolds superhero film were treated to the entire movie
The first reactions for Ryan Reynolds‘ superhero film “Deadpool” are in, and people seem to love the Merc with a Mouth.
Unknowing fans thought they were attending an event in New York and Los Angeles where they could preview footage of the film, but instead they were treated to the unfinished version of the entire movie. Reynolds attended the New York screening, whereas director Tim Miller appeared at the Los Angeles screening with T.J. Miller, Briana Hildebrand, creator Rob Liefeld, screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, producer Simon Kinberg and Stan Lee.
“Officially one of my favorite Marvel movies of all time, so good!” One Twitter user tweeted about the film.
“Oh man, I really, really loved #Deadpool!” another tweeted. “Funny, action packed, and just a blast. As a fan, I’m hugely impressed and happy!”
“Deadpool,” which just received an R rating, will hit theaters on Feb. 12.
