Following the death of Patrick Dempsey‘s Dr. McDreamy last season, the first trailer for the 12th season of “Grey’s Anatomy” promises that “everything has changed.”
The TV spot shows all the cast members high-fiving as the new season begins, but for Meredith Grey (played by Ellen Pompeo), it seems that since the death of her husband Derek (Dempsey), life isn’t as dandy.
While the trailer doesn’t reveal much, we can see that Jo (Camilla Luddington) swings a sledgehammer into the wall of Meredith’s house, while Maggie (Kelly McCreary) punches someone in the face.
Season 11 of the ABC show killed off Shepherd in a horrific car accident, and backlash erupted on social media as fans were sad to see a fan favorite go after more than a decade.
