After releasing several teases from the digital empire of President Snow, Lionsgate has finally unveiled the first teaser trailer for “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1,” the first half of the third chapter in its immensely popular and lucrative series about rebellious teenage archer Katniss Everdeen and the fight to upend a dystopian world.

The footage debuted at Comic-Con, ahead of its November 21 release, made available to dedicated fans who visited a branded “experience” exhibit sponsored by cellphone company Samsung, which may well be the future of film.

In the trailer, which we won’t spoil too much, we find Philip Seymour Hoffman‘s Plutarch Heavensbee telling Julianne Moore‘s President Coin (making her debut in the series) that Katniss must lead the growing rebellion against Snow (Donald Sutherland) and his murderous regime filled with proto-Stormtroopers.

Katniss, having nearly been murdered by the government and many of her peers twice in the last two years, is understandably dazed.
