Henry Cavill is going where Christopher Reeve and Brandon Routh (oh, that guy!) have gone before in a series of promotional shots from Warner Bros. upcoming "Man of Steel."
Filming on the comic book movie reboot started this week, giving us a chance to see how Cavill ("The Tudors") will stack up as Superman.

Based on the first photos of Cavill in the signature cape and tights, it looks like director Zack Snyder ("300") is hewing to a traditional, albeit slightly streamlined, costume for the "Man of Steel."
In addition to Cavill, Amy Adams co-stars as Lois Lane, with Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, and Russell Crowe also on board in supporting roles. The film hits theaters on June 14, 2013.
