Chip Gaines of HGTV’s “Fixer Upper” took to Twitter on Friday to address rumors that he and wife Joanna are headed toward divorce.
He responded to a fan, who tweeted “I’m so sick of the ‘stories’ claiming @joannagaines and @chippergaines breaking up. Leave this couple alone they are wonderful together.”
Gaines said a divorce “won’t ever happen… you can take that to the bank! #loveOfMyLife.”

The Gaines’ have been married since 2003 and have four children. “Fixer Upper,” now in its fourth season, follows the couple on home renovation projects in Waco, Texas.
The couple is currently working on a spin-off series to their popular show called “Behind the Design,” which is set for 2018. The half-hour series will focus on Joanna in the design process for the houses they renovate on “Fixer Upper.”
Chip Gaines was recently named in a $1 million lawsuit filed by two former friends who gave up their shares in Magnolia Realty just days before the HGTV show was announced.
