‘Flip or Flop’ Star Teases New Venture: ‘Big Things Happening’

Looks like Tarek El Moussa has assembled a new team.

“Flip or Flop” star El Moussa took to Instagram on Thursday to tease a new venture.

While the HGTV star didn’t offer much in the way of details, he did urge his followers to stay tuned.

“#Big things happening in Luxury real estate with #Tarekandassociates!!!” El Moussa wrote. “Stay tuned folks… a new #venture begins!!!”

El Moussa included the  hashtags “#newportbeach,”  “#newportcoast” and “#coronadelmar” in the post.

Among the accounts at-tagged by El Moussa in the post: Dorian Media Group, which provides services including website design and internet marketing.

Also at-tagged in the post: Julian Channels, who according to his bio on the HOM Sotheby’s website “has an extensive knowledge about our coastal communities and the nuances of beach town ​luxury real estate markets.”

Channels’ areas of expertise are listed as Laguna Beach, Newport Beach and Corona del Mar.

According to a spokesman for El Moussa, the reality star’s new team Tarek and Associates is based out of El Moussa’s current brokerage, HOM Sotheby’s, in Orange County, California.

The team will focus on Corona del Mar and Newport Beach, utilizing the resources of the brokerage as well as El Moussa’s media platform to service clients at the luxury level.

El Moussa, who stars on the HGTV series “Flip or Flop” with his wife Christina El Moussa, found himself in the media spotlight in December when he and Christina announced their breakup after seven years of marriage. In a statement to People, the pair acknowledged, “Like many couples, we have had challenges in our marriage … We had an unfortunate misunderstanding about six months ago and the police were called to our house in an abundance of caution. There was no violence and no charges were filed.”
