Forest Whitaker Goes Psycho on Anthony Mackie in ‘Repentance’ Trailer (Video)

Note to therapists: Don’t make house calls anymore

Forest Whitaker plays a psycho not all that different from Norman Bates in upcoming Codeblack release “Repentance,” which co-stars Anthony Mackie as a therapist who gets abducted by the deranged man.

Mourning the loss of his mother, Whitaker (“The Butler”) turns to Mackie (“Captain America: Winter Soldier”) for help, only to turn the tables and terrorize the life coach — and eventually the man’s closest family — when his dead mother tells him to.

The psychological horror, which Whitaker’s Significant Productions produced, hits theaters in February.

Mike Epps (“The Hangover”) and Sanaa Lathan (“The Best Man Holiday”) also star as Mackie’s brother and girlfriend, respectively.
