Brian Swardstrom has joined UTA as a partner and talent agent working out of UTA’s New York office, the agency said Thursday. Swardstrom arrives at UTA after several years at WME, and, before the merger, Endeavor.
He joined Endeavor as a partner in the New York office in 1998 before moving to Los Angeles. When Endeavor merged with the William Morris Agency in 2009, Swardstrom joined his fellow partners in WME’s Los Angeles office.
Swardstrom represented actors such as Edward Norton, Tilda Swinton, Damian Lewis, Claire Danes and Rooney Mara while at WME. It remains unclear which of his clients will join him at UTA.
“Brian has always modeled the kind of focus and dedication towards clients that we deeply admire, and his clients have always been at the forefront of creative and professional excellence,” UTA Managing Partner David Kramer said in a statement. “Brian fits in perfectly in our ‘client-first’ culture, and we are pleased to welcome him.”
