Fox 2000 Names Erin Siminoff Executive Vice President of Production

Studio also names Nick D’Angelo Vice President of Production

Erin Siminoff has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Production at Fox 2000, the company announced Thursday.

Additionally, Nick D’Angelo has been named Vice President, Production.

Siminoff joined Fox 2000, curiously enough, in 2000 as an intern while still attending Pepperdine University. She rose through the ranks and worked as a creative executive on projects such as “The Devil Wears Prada” and “Walk the Line.” Recent productions she oversaw include the “Alvin and the Chipmunks” franchise and the hugely successful John Green adaptation “The Fault in Our Stars.”

Upcoming projects include Nicholas Sparks‘ “The Longest Ride” and another Green adaptation, “Paper Towns.”

D’Angelo joined the company in 2003, and has also risen through the production ranks, having been promoted to creative executive in 2006 and then to Director of Production in 2009. D’Angelo worked as a creative executive on some of Fox 2000’s most successful film franchises, including “Diary of a Wimpy Kid.” His other past projects include “Chasing Mavericks” and “Marley and Me.”

His upcoming projects for the studio include “Last Train to Memphis” and “The Litigators.”
