Fox Sports will reward English Premier League fans in the U.S. on May 13, airing nine of the soccer league’s final 10 matches at the same time across its suite of networks.
The EPL, by far the most famous domestic European soccer league on this side of the Atlantic, will pit all 20 of its teams against each other on the final day of the season in what is known as “Survival Sunday.”

ESPN will get to select one of the 10 games to air, but the rest will take over the airwaves at Speed, Fox Sports Net, Fuel TV, Fox Soccer, Fox Soccer Plus, Fox Deportes and FX at 10 a.m. E.T. on that Sunday.
Some of the matches on deck include Newcastle United vs. Everton and Manchester United vs. Sunderland.
“With so much at stake, there’s nothing like the tension of the Premier League’s final Sunday, and we hope to capture every minute we can using the considerable resources available to the Fox Sports Media Group,” Eric Shanks, Co-President and COO of the Fox Sports Media Group, said in a statement. “Our plan is to provide cut-ins and updates from matches as often as necessary, while never taking the viewer away from the game they’re watching.”
For those unfamiliar with the rules, a league is decided by aggregate points earned through wins and ties (losses count for 0 points). Manchester United is in position to win the league, though that could change if the Red Devils collapse down the stretch.
Where the other teams finish also matters, because it dictates qualification for tournaments, such as the Champions League, and whether teams get relegated to a lesser league — a fate suffered by the three worst-performing teams.
The tightest race is between Newcastle, Tottenham and Chelsea for fourth place, which earns the team a spot in the prestigious Champions League.
