This year’s 10 FWI finalists were selected from more than 400 nominations and submissions by talent representation and arts organizations across the country. The program was launched in 2011.

“The program is a valuable tool for up-and-coming writers,” said Brett Baer and Dave Finkel, executive producers of "New Girl." “We loved getting into it with the people in the program and hearing ideas from the next generation of showrunners and staff writers.”
