Fox’s NFL Reporter Pam Oliver Drilled in Face by Football During Broadcast (Video)

This was not the worst pass in the Colts/Giants game Sunday night

The concussion risk in football is not solely for the players.

During warm-ups on Sunday, before the Indianapolis Colts and New York Giants game, Fox Sports sideline reporter Pam Oliver got drilled in the face by an errant pass from Colts backup quarterback Chandler Harnish.

If you were expecting announcer Joe Buck to not make light of the moment, or his partner, former QB Troy Aikman to not comment on the tightness of the spiral, clearly you don’t know Fox. (Or the boredom that is preseason football.)

For his part, Harnish gave her a hug and an apology and promised that flowers were in the mail. For Oliver — and the confidence Colts fans — thank goodness it wasn’t a ball from starting quarterback Andrew Luck.
